  Service was good. Quality of food was below average and quite pricey for what you get.
  I wouldn't come here for authentic Japanese food.

  Seems like the the owner tends leave a lot of irrelevant and odd responses to any negative reviews here.
  Especially the part about being careful on what I say on the web that it might effect business.
  That's the point of a review and I would hope reviews effect businesses to IMPROVE. So I stand by my review.
  I get it you are running a business and you are defensive but instead of rebutting feedback and trying to shift the blame on reviewers, maybe take on the feedback and look at improving instead.

  Food was good but everything came right after each other whilst expected them to phase the dishes based on what should be eaten hot and what can come in without crowding the table. By the time I got to the gyoza, it was cool and not hot.
  
  Friendly service by the staff but during cleanup, everything was not cleared though the girl who served the desserts had an empty tray to return to the kitchen.
  
  I may be picky but I felt disappointed because it was like being in a Chinese restaurant where all the dishes are quickly brought in to the table. My family has been to Japan and aware of the pride the chefs have in bringing in dishes at the right time.
  
  Overall reasonably good food if you don’t mind cold Yakitori or gyoza.

  Beautiful-looking restaurant with fairly authentic Japanese food, but quality is not on par with the price: if sushi is $35 for 10 pieces, the rice really shouldn't be gluey. Grilled mackerel was OK though.

  The overall quality of their food did not match the high end interior and vibe of the place. Service was good though and the space is conducive for catch ups.

  very professional Japanese foods, amazing sashimi. Ramen and hotpot are really exquisite(good choice in winter), various sakes and not expensive! servings is definitely big enough. they also have some good specials to have a try(like some famous Chinese dishes made in Japanese style). service is normal, but the environment is really elegant.
  anyway, taste matters most, it won't let you down in this regard.
  Hope everyone can have a good experience at there.
  堪培拉的各种餐厅基本都试过, 这家细节处理的没的说，食材做工都很考究, 就是位置离civic有段距离。价格亲民,环境也很好

  Lovely warm place for lunch or dinner. Pork broth is very very good. Kids love the BBQ chicken and rice.
