  Excellent steak tartare. And the tuna was to die for, near perfection! Nice sides with potato gallete (gratin) and carrots. Finishing with tiramisu which was light (but maybe too moist).

  Stayed the night at qt visiting relatives, took my parents to the restaurant that night as I forgot to book a restaurant.
  
  Manager Jun on duty was great and accomadating for the last minute reservation.
  
  Food was great, highlight on the steak that would usually cost alot more then it is at other restaurants I have been too. Albeit still on the higher end pricing of hotel restaurants (we did order a few bottles of wine too) its also a lot nicer with better vibes than most.
  
  Would definately recommend, not sure why people are referencing it to a pub when its not what its aimed to be.
  
  Friendly staff at the time, tried to be attentive and offered services. overall great experience!

  Disappointing!
  
  Was really looking forward to a good steak given the reviews and ordered the Ribeye Steak for $69 as I wanted something with flavour and asked for medium rare.
  
  Steak on arriving was nicely presented and looked amazing, but it was overcooked and was chewy and tough. There was no fat on the Steak and felt like I was eating a rump steak. There was no tenderness..........my cousin ordered the same as me and the result was exactly the same.......overcooked and chewy. The fillet on the other hand that my wife ordered was way better and nicely cooked. So I guess a hit and miss with the cook or inconsistency which you should not expect from a top steak restaurant in Canberra.

  If you're looking for a good steak house in Canberra this isn't it. This was a 65 dollar steak which didn't include sauce or any sides. I ordered it rare and it was absolutely overcooked to the point if well done. It's the first steak in my life that I haven't finished. Our meal for 2 people was 340 dollars as we went out for a special date night however I can't describe how let down we were by the steak. As well as being cremated and over cooked there was just no flavour in the steak, no fat and no seasoning could be tasted. Nice venue but seriously disappointing steak

  Had dinner here around mid May 2022 which was a very disappointing and led me to give some scathing feedback - mostly to do with the service and how a legitimate complaint about the food was poorly handled. However, I must commend the management, particularly Desiree, for their sincere response. They were gracious in acknowledging the faults and took my feedback on board. They were very accommodating to my partner and I, whom they invited to return for dinner and try their revamped menu. I must say our experience compared to the first time was like night and day.. We went on a Tuesday night and even then it was buzzing. Good if you like that kind of atmosphere but probably not the best if you want a quiet, peaceful chat. Anyway our host Jun was superb, providing us with a personal selection of dishes and drink pairings. The food came out promptly and the quality was exquisite. The scallops and king prawns for entrée were vibrant and delicious and the lamb and rib eye for mains were so flavourful and just melts in your mouth. Also the bombe Alaska dessert was...the bomb! Definitely changed our original impression and we had an great night. Thanks for the great service Desiree and Jun :)
